The winner of the Leftover Food Challenge Competition is Ms Claire Sammut - Congratulations!
WE would also like to thank all those who have shown an interest in this challenge. Thank you for your participation and well done! Our second Maths challenge was to divide an amount of apples in different bowls. It was important to have the same amount of apples in the bowls and to list all the possibilities. Obviously, different year groups were presented with different number of apples.
Here are the children who guessed correctly: Lately, the school started different Maths challenges. The first one was about Estimation. Students had to estimate the number of paperclips that were placed in a plastic jar. The Kindergarten students had 20 paperclips while the Primary students had 607 paperclips. Winners of the competitionOn 10th March 2017, group of Year 4 pupils participated in an Athletics event at Marsa Sports ground. The children competed against other children attending the various schools within St Nicholas College. For most of our pupils , this was a first experience and we are proud to say that they did extremely well. Well done to all the team and many thanks to Ms Rebecca Bonello (PE Teacher) for coordinating this event!
