Head of School
Ms Elizabeth Galea’s educational working experience started in 1997 after obtaining a B.Ed. (Hons.) degree in Early and Middle Years and Maltese at the University of Malta. As a Primary teacher she taught for fourteen years at Fgura Primary A School. In addition, in 2005 she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in Administration and Management at the University of Malta.
From 2011 she took up the post of Head of Department of Assessment. In this role she gave support to different Primary and Secondary schools in San Gorg Preca College, St Margaret College, St Ignatius College, different Church Schools and Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School. During the year 2016 she obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Train the Trainer Programme for a Learning Outcomes Framework Approach where she participated in a study visit in Cork, Ireland. At the end of this scholastic year she moved to Dingli Primary School to perform the role of Head of School after the retirement of the previous Head of School, Mr Paul Galea, taking over from Acting Head, Ms Anne Marie Camilleri. |
Assistant Head of School
Ms Anne Marie Camilleri obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Adm. & Mgmt.) in 2005 from the University of Malta after having read for a B.Ed. (Hons.) degree in Early and Middle Years and Italian in 1992.
She also attended a number of training courses in Italy and the U.K. which focused on schools as professional learning communities, experiential learning and educational leadership. Ms Camilleri's work experience includes 13 years teaching in State Primary Schools, namely B'Kara Primary and Attard Primary. She took up the post of Assistant Head in 2005 at Birżebbuġa Primary and in 2007, she moved to Dingli Primary, taking over from the previous Assistant Head of School, Ms Doris Tonna. |
